What to expect when you come back to class

Everything you need to know for our re-opening from June 22nd.

We are so excited to welcome you back to the studio as of June 22nd. Please take some time to become familiar with the changes listed below. This is to ensure our in-studio experience meets current government guidelines and supports your health and wellbeing.

Changes we have made and what to expect

  • All classes are capped at 10 participants. Bookings are essential.
  • The studio will be open 10 minutes before class to allow for cleaning between classes
  • Class booking cancellations need to be made 2 hours before class. Fees will apply if you cancel outside of this, $10 for members and pass holders will forfeit their class.
  • Silks will be hygienically sterilised after every use with steam cleaning and regular changing each day.
  • 1.5 metres spacing between each mat will be marked out in the studio
  • Social distancing markers will be set out in reception and bathrooms
  • All common surfaces and door handles will be cleaned after each class
  • Teachers will not be providing any hands-on adjustments for now.
  • Essential oils will not be used in Savasana for now.
  • Tea and fruit will not be offered before or after class for now.
  • Prop use will not be offered in class for now. Students are welcome to bring in their own props to use in class.
  • Antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser will be available for student use and to wipe down mats.

How you can help

  • Bring your own mat to class and your own hand towel to wipe it down afterwards where possible.
  • Do not attend classes if you feel unwell. You may be asked to leave if you are showing symptoms.
  • Wash and sanitise your hands upon entering and leaving the studio.
  • Arrive 10 minutes before the start of class to get setup.
  • Practice social distancing at all times when in the studio.
  • Cancel your booking 2 hours before class if you cannot attend so someone else can take your place.
