If you are thinking about attending a Body Flows retreat, stop thinking and just go for it! The retreat I attended this past July in Sonoma was the reset I didn't know I needed. Sally did a wonderful job of outlining a group-based health and mental wellness-minded weekend while guiding us to take some time to turn inward for self-reflection. Not to mention, this all happened in a gorgeous setting that perfectly facilitated the journey. Body Flows is 10/10!Shaneka Stuckey9 months ago - Google
Sally is a great instructor! Our team had a private yoga session with her @ the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa. Get ready for a yoga session infused with meditation and relaxation. This class is also the perfect combination of stretch and a workout. She has great energy, very Zen, and a really calming voice. There is more - she provided us with a cute bag and a book for mindfulness journaling. It was a great experience! Book your appointment today!

Sally's yoga retreats are simply a treat for your soul, body and mind. Me and my friends went to one in Sonoma, and one in Colorado. Both were somewhat different but still truly amazing. I love how Sally integrates hiking into the whole experience. You also get to meet and know new people, spend time talking by the fireplace, and just be and enjoy the moment!Jean Maddencazares1 year ago - Google
Waited nearly 2 years to get to a retreat and it was so worth it! Thank you Sally for the lovely Sonoma yoga escape. It was the perfect weekend for my daughter and I to spend time together. The setting was gorgeous, weather was beautiful and the food was so very delicious! The weekend offered a little of everything to fill our souls. Namaste 🙏

Erin is an angel, here to spread good energy and healing of mind, body and spirit. I had yoga sessions and Thai massages with Erin. I went to her at a friend's recommendation because I am working on making progress healing from a bike accident and surgery. She kindly and brilliantly helped me stretch and relax in the Yoga sessions. Her Thai massage was so filled with love and caring as well as a font of experience, gentle and and intelligent touch, that I floated out of her office and continued to feel really good. Can't wait to get back to Asheville to do more body work with Erin. She's the best!Anais Strickling2 years ago - Google
2 hours of bliss. My body felt like it was receiving a big warm hug! I'm a physical therapist and former massage therapist and having received many sessions of bodywork in my life I can say with absolute confidence that this was hands down one of the best body work experiences I've ever had. Erin is really a master at her craft. She is intuitive and knowledgeable about the human body. If you've never experienced a Thai massage before you don't know what you are missing! I can't wait until my next appointment!

Erin caters each session to exactly what I need. She is a true expert in this field and has a unique skill set that combines Thai Massage, Yoga and overall body awareness. She sends me home with additional work that keeps me feeling healthy in between sessions. The experience is much more than a massage and I can't recommend anyone else more in this field.Rosemary Wilson2 years ago - Google
Three words to sum up the experience: care, cleanliness, and healing! I’m so very glad I tried out receiving a Thai massage from Erin. She is so knowledgeable about what she does, and her extreme care for her clients and passion for what she does shines through in her work. I have received table massages regularly for a while, and I’m so glad I trusted in Erin to try out receiving Thai massage. A couple days later, I’m walking taller and my hip pain has really subsided. Not only was the Thai massage extremely relaxing, but I feel so much better in my body and my posture afterwords than I have in YEARS! I’ve been working on correcting residual posture issues from an old injury for a while, and Erin helped me straighten my spine and overall feel more comfortable in my body in a way that was so gentle, she made it look and feel easy! It was so extremely healing! I cannot overstate what a great healer Erin is. Feeling comfortable and at ease in my own body is the greatest gift there is.The studio is also of the utmost cleanliness, and Erin has very intentionally crafted a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. She really thinks of everything! All around I feel very safe in Erin’s hands.Patrick Godfrey2 years ago - Google
Erin is in a league of her own with the knowledge and experience of Thai massage and how to apply it to the human body of everyday athletes and normal people alike. I have visited her off and on for a couple of years now and just saw her for the first time since COVID. Her studio is completely clean and made me feel very safe with her sanitary procedures.I would recommend her to anyone that wants extensive body work to help their overall performance with sports or the everyday person who just wants a relaxing and soothing massage.Keep it up and good luck! See you soon!

Erin is the most intuitive and talented massage therapist I have ever experienced! That‘s why I've been going to Erin for over seven years now. Every time I receive a Thai Massage from Erin, I am blown away by the advanced movement and stretching she incorporates into the session — it's fluid, healing and simply magical. Her technique is advanced, her strength/firm pressure is unparalleled and her dedication to caring about YOU and your health, as a person, is unwavering. She has an in-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology that allows you to truly benefit from very second of the massage. As a climber/athlete, I really value Erin‘s work because she is very insightful as to what muscles you are actually using in your specified sport. She has excellent technique for Thai and Table Massage and always follows up with you to see how you are feeling post-massage.Her extensive background in yoga and fitness make her the perfect massage therapist (and yoga teacher)! Make an appointment with her, you won't regret it! I think I'll make one now:)Amy2 years ago - Google
BEST massage I've ever received! Erin is a gifted healer and a terrific communicator. We have worked together now four times and I plan to start seeing her every other week. The treatments have a lasting effect and her technique is superb. She immediately sets you at ease, is very mindful about COVID, and is really pleasant to be with. I highly recommend her.Jenny Roberts2 years ago - Google
My first ✨ Thai Massage! Totally relaxing ❤️Knowledgeable + caring therapistOn my first visit to Flow Bodyworks, Erin helped me address pain in my neck. I learned sooo much about my body and got so many tips on different healing modalities and exercises to try outside the office as well. I’ve had a second visit since where I was able to drop in even further into a healing space and receive relief for tension in my body.Erin is extremely good at what she does! Her Thai massages are held in a warm comfortable cushion on the ground that becomes your own personal stretching pillow for 2 hours! It’s the absolute best having someone stretch your body and guide you to relax with no effort! As someone who spends a lot of time behind the computer for work as a videographer, she was able to customize everything about the massage to address computer body - aka hunching forward, tight muscles in the upper body and chest and neck strain etc. We talked at length about it and she was able to explain at multiple points during the massage what was happening in my body.I was loving the stretches she put me in to open the chest and release tension in hips. And I really like the attention to my feet in the beginning to ground in and take care of an often ignored part of the body. In my second appointment I walked in with back pain and left having felt that tension dissolve and I even think it stopped a headache from developing!Thai massage is so interesting as you are able to observe the practitioner’s knowledge and watch in amazement as they move the body into postures and target one physical area and then consequently another part of the body opens or adjusts.Erin is also such a nurturing person and creates a really relaxing and inviting space. She is conscious about keeping a clean and safe environment esp. during Covid. She had a mask on hand for me and just made everything easy!Definitely recommend 100%!!!

Erin's bodywork is amazing! Her calm, nurturing, strong hands and heart made me feel very comfortable. Thai foot reflexology combined with a thorough full body masage and gentle stretching allowed my muscles to totally relax, leaving me feeling balanced and pain free by the end of our session.Thank you, Erin!Bill Russell2 years ago - Google
"Fixed"! Thai massage may not be new...but it's the Western world's best kept secret. I have been receiving bodywork treatment for 25 years. Erin is the most professional and effective therapist I have ever had. Today is a new day for me moving forward. As a former athlete and runner, the work and time spent with Erin is beyond words. I really didn't think it would be so easy but at 50, I was completely confident and trusting in her work. I could go on but you must give it a try if you suffer from lower back or issues anywhere in your body. She is just amazing! Trust her and try it.Arnaldo Alvarez2 years ago - Google
Erin has completely changed and transformed the way I perceive my own body's movements and mechanics to effectively live my life. As a gym owner, and competitive athlete, I cannot recommend her Thai massages enough to ANYONE who wants to feel energized, relaxed, and ready to take on the day. The major difference between Thai and traditional table Swedish massage is the deep stretches integrated with the deep tissue body work. It will absolutely change your life. On top of this, she takes great care in educating you on her practice, and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk through the door. Extremely kind, professional, and communicative throughout the whole process. So glad I have added this to my maintenance routine!

AMAZING THAI MASSAGE! Wow! I own a Yoga Wellness Center & have access to some of best massage therapists around- (and I am very picky) - but I continue to travel to see Erin even though I live 75 miles away. I trust her with my various injuries and because she is so knowledgeable and intuitive, I usually have major realizations about my alignment and where or why I hold tension in my body while she is working on me. I can let go and trust her completely! She is very professional, safe, clean, respectful and caring. She creates and provides a special atmosphere to allow for complete relaxation. Her Thai Massage experience is a real treat for myself: physically, mentally and spiritually.Sam Pedisich2 years ago - Google
Erin's skills and presence throughout several healing sessions were absolutely vital in pulling me out of a crushed physical and spiritual state after an immobilizing motorcycle accident. She set me on the path I did not know how to find without her wide professional skill set. My gratitude is beyond words.Brian Ross2 years ago - Google
Erin is a wonderful therapist. She is one on the few and I think the best Thai Massage therapist in Asheville. I have been going to her for 2 years. Thai massage may be new to many people and Erin takes the time to describe the process and listens to what will work best for you and your body needs. She is also Covid compliant in so many ways - it makes the entire experience a safe and relaxing one. I can’t say enough good things about Erin.

I was very lucky to be referred to Erin when we moved to Asheville. She is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and diligent in her body work. She spends a lot of time going over her process and areas to work on.Her Thai massages provide a stronger and deeper massage which is what I was looking for to help with back pain associated with my professional duties.I highly recommend Erin for anyone looking for quality massage therapy in the area!Circle Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic2 years ago - Google
I have received Thai massage for over 20 years and Erin Marie Porter with Flow Bodyworks is by far the best! She is a uniquely skilled and gifted Thai massage therapist with a warm and welcoming practice space. I appreciate her dynamic stretching and compression techniques. After receiving Thai massage from Erin, I felt completely relaxed with improved flexibility and range of motion. She is an outstanding practitioner with many years of experience. I walked away from my massage with no muscle tension anywhere in my body. I highly recommend her services.

I took a Flow class with Chantal and it was really good. She hasn’t been teaching long but you wouldn’t know it. Lots of modifications for everyone, tailored it to the day and a beautiful voice. I was made to feel really welcome from beginning to end and the studio is really lovely. Would definitely return if I’m in Melbourne again. Thank you:)

First time ever trying Thai massage and so glad I found Erin! I’ve had individual and couples sessions- both have been deeply therapeutic. As a physically active person (running, yoga, Pilates) the individual sessions have improved my range of motion, relieved muscle tension, and realigned me from the inside out— energetically - physically. After one on one sessions, I’d come home and try explaining to my boyfriend (runner, lifts weights) how much he could benefit from Thai massage. Although reluctant at first, he agreed to give it a try, first one on one then in a couples session. Erin tailored the couple session around learning what massage techniques we could use at home to support each other. She first demonstrated the technique then she’d have us try it, giving us helpful feedback/tips. She even catered to our different learning styles- I wanted to know more technical aspects (muscles, motion etc) while my boyfriend focused on general principles/areas of the body. The dual session gave us the tools to be intimate in a new way. Both of us appreciate now knowing how to care for each other’s bodies when they’re overly fatigued, tense or otherwise feeling out of sorts. Can’t thank Erin enough for guiding us along and providing a truly healing touch!Lyndi Hewitt3 years ago - Google
Erin introduced me to Thai massage a few years ago and I'm deeply grateful for the healing and transformation it has brought to my life. Particularly when my body is out of balance due to chronic stress or injuries, sessions with Erin are now an essential intervention. Not only does she bring vast knowledge and years of experience to her work, but also remarkable intuition and wisdom that can't be replicated elsewhere. As a bonus, her space is beautiful and calming. Clients leave feeling renewed, at peace, and more educated about their bodies. While visiting a chiropractor, acupuncturist, yoga class, energy healer, etc. may have positive results, I've come to feel that Thai massage accomplishes in a truly holistic manner what other healing modalities cannot. A session with Erin is an investment in your health that you won't regret.

I’ve been a member at this studio for over a year and I absolutely love it. The teachers are extremely professional, you always feel safe yet challenged energetically. It’s amazing to see how much my strength and flexibility has increased and also my mindfulness. Beautiful studio and great classes not only for aerial but also mat yoga. Highly recommend!

Cant begin to express how much I love this place! Everyone is so kind at the front desk and the instructors are amazing! I never thought I’d be doing heated classes since I can’t stand sweating, but I LOVE the endorphin release I get during my workouts here. It almost makes me push myself 10x harder and it actually feels so good to sweat! The thing I love most about set and flow is the instructors. Everyone is AMAZING and so motivating! My favorite classes are bootcamp, pilates, yoga and HIIT. I’d recommend anyone to try this place :)

This place is definitely my favorite yoga studio in Melbourne after trying 4 different places. The cleanliness level, ambience, facilities, location, music and instructors are all really great. The instructors all have this calm, positive and friendly vibe. The only reasons I didn’t get a yearly pass is because I’m about to work abroad for a year. I’ll definitely be coming back in 2020!Mike Friedman4 years ago - Google
Erin is absolutely wonderful to work with. Her skill and her knowledge base are only second to her compassion and dedication to Healing. I had scheduled a 2 hour Thai massage and did not really know what to expect. The amount of relief that she gave my neck and back is incredible. I'm looking forward to my next session and my opportunity to work with her further towards my goals of achieving greater flexibility and overall health. Erin is a very kind and compassionate person, very personable, and easy to work with. I am certain that her skills will provide the results I'm looking for! I could not recommend her more strongly. Thank you Erin!

Outstanding. Erin has an amazing understanding of the human body, and it's mechanics, and is able to apply this knowledge to her massage to help fix, rather than just temporarily alleviate, body issues. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you are an athlete and are suffering the nagging injuries that come from sport specific motion, I highly recommend the Thai massage, it's a game changer!

Really love Sally and her BodyFlows retreats. I always feel like I can completely unplug, relax, and enjoy amazing food and stretch and strengthen my body. Sally has nailed it on location. The accommodations are cozy, quiet, and the food is always incredible. There is both structured yoga time but also a ton of free time to read, hike, sit in the hot tub, have a glass of wine, etc. I'll definitely be back!

This place is amazing! The studio is always clean with friendly staff! The instructors are awesome! They keep the class challenging and fresh. I've seen instructors accommodate to new people and all levels of experience! There prices are competitive to other nearby studios! They have Kombucha on tap, showers, large restrooms, lockers (with free locks), and a big area to put on-off shoes. The place was well designed and well maintained. I highly recommend giving one of their MANY classes a try! You won't regret it! Oh, and parking on sit with validation! :)

Stiff front desk staff turn customers away if they are 2 minutes late, and they do so with an attitude. First of all, I have seen other customers arrive a couple of minutes late and they had no problem getting in. Secondly, this is the stupidest rule I have ever heard of. Customers pay for for their business to survive, and not realizing that and turning customers away because they are 2 minutes late is a really dumb idea long term. Third, they have the same attitude of high school teachers when students get caught doing something bad. This is not a true yoga studio, this is just a silly place

I've been a member of Set and Flow since the studio first opened and still find myself in awe of the amazing work that they do. Not only are the classes incredibly fun and engaging, but the spirit of the studio itself is truly one of a kind. Throughout the past few years, I have built relationships with the staff, other members, and even the owner himself. The instructors make an effort to get to know each individual and help them reach their goals. As someone who relocated to LA from NY, the community aspect of Set and Flow feels like home to me. The studio continues to host fun events to keep everyone connected, such as kettle bell competitions and full moon sound baths. They also introduce new classes regularly, which helps me to challenge myself and invite novelty into my life. Coming from someone who rarely writes reviews for anything, I would absolutely recommend joining or visiting this studio.

I'm a long time student of Body Flow Yoga. I did a flow class with teacher Chris Dixon on Thursday evening which was absolutely terrific. The sequence of poses, pace and guidance through the session was something very special. The experience was refreshing, invigorating and centering at a new level. Power, calm and enlightenment in one. Magic. Thanks BFY & Chris

Over the years I've tried all different kinds of massages. Being a runner with constant muscle pains and a recent IT band injury, I need someone who had deep knowledge on the body flow and able to guide and help me to fast recovery. Sally's approach to massage is very unique. She combines her running, yoga expertise with her customized approach just for me. A session with her is truly one of kind. She's not just following a typical massage script, she focuses on what matters to my needs and the outcome is just fabulous. Not only I felt my whole body is rejuvenated, the ache and pain is definitely disappearing, and my whole body feels all melted together. My only wish is if I were to live close by. Sally truly delivers the full body flow, and brings the best outcomes I ever experienced.Julie Ritchie6 years ago - Google
My life changing, healing massage from Sally was incredible. Sally guided me into deep belly breathing through areas of intensity and pressure points. I felt like a different person afterwards – light, full of energy and so relaxed. Something I hadn’t felt for years.

Sally has an intuitive approach to massages. I have a range of ailments from migraines to tight IT bands from running. Each and every time I have received a massage from her, I walk out feeling like a new person and my body thanking me. I love the fact she knows exactly what my body needs even when I am not aware of areas which need to be worked on. I HIGHLY recommend her. I have had the pleasure of getting massaged by Sally during one of her retreats as well as in Sonoma at her home. Pros:Very well priced.Great variety of classes.Classes get you fit.Sequences were pretty well put together.Easy Parking.Cons:I didn't like the swearing in class. Even though I find myself swearing a lot in life it wasn't at all nice to hear many times in a yoga class. Actually it was one of the reasons I didn't return to the owners class.Holding a kettle bell above your head with sweaty hands is asking for trouble. They charged my girlfriend twice she wanted to pay cash but they charged her credit card too. Was a simple mistake and was only a drop in so no big thing. They pay their teachers very poorly so don't expect any of Hollywood's veteran yoga teachers to be there. More of a hobby place for teachers to teach.

Disorganisation, rudeness and miscommunication left me feeling stressed and upset. After travelling a long distance I was excited about this class to help me with an injury that has affected my physical and mental well being. I was thrilled to try something healing and nourishing! ... Instead I was turned away for being 20mins early, then rudely told to leave when I came back late. It was a waste of time and made me feel more stressed and anxious. I am extremely disappointed and disheartened and I hope no one has an experience like this again.

Years of hard court tennis and road running eventually took a toll resulting in acute Plantar Faciitis...in both feet. After a gamut of treatments, from shots to night splints to physical therapy & custom orthodics, the pain finally subsided enough to return to tennis...on clay courts. Recently, after a years long hiatus, I started training for an upcoming road race and pain began creeping in again. I decided to try Thai Reflexology Massage. The results are amazing so far, after just one session.Pain-free the next morning and still pain-free after a couple trail runs.Erin works not only the soles but the entire foot, ankle and lower leg area...systematically and deeply. Explaining each technique and constantly seeking feedback. The balms she applies keep bringing warmth into affected areas for hours after. Just an incredible experience. In a space that is serene and relaxing all on its own. I plan on making it part of my regimen going forward.Erin clearly has the knowledge but also the touch.Healing hands.Robert Kyle7 years ago - Google

My two and one-half hour Thai Massage with Erin was so much more than Iexpected. Erin is calm and personable and an expert at Thai Massage. Her studio is well lit, quiet, clean and serene and easily accessible fromBiltmore Village Shopping.Erin took the time at the beginning of our session to find out how I felt andif I had any physical concerns. The session began with reflexology, completelyopening and relaxing my toes, feet and ankles. Erin then moved to my legsand hips, stretching and opening, both front and back. As she movedmy legs and hips my muscles just let go and I experienced an intensestretch I've not been able to accomplish on my own in my yoga practice. She opened my chest and shoulders with pressure and stretching.Erin applied intense pressure to my abdomen and with my breatheI was able to clear out stale air from my lungs. Throughout this massage a warm, herbal politice was applied to areas of tightness to further open the energy channels. After the massage I felt weightless and this feeling carried over to the nextday. I felt wonderful the next day; no soreness, aches or pains anywherein my body. I am eager to repeat this experience soon.Get a Thai Massage with Erin as soon as you can book an appointment. You will not be disappointed.Raphael Kellman7 years ago - Google
Erin was one of the most skilled, intuitive, purposeful, intentional and wonderful massage therapists I have ever had the fortune of working with! For many years I had been a body worker myself, so I consider myself rather choosey with who I think is exceptional, and Erin is!In addition to her outstanding knowledge of the human body, and relaxing yet deep work, she is completely present when she is with you, as if you are the most important body she has ever worked on! She clearly loves what she does, and you can feel this with each of her strokes.Lastly, Erin encompasses true sprit, and is kind and caring and truly wants to get to know you, and you feel this from the minute you walk in the door. Additionally, I so appreciated when I wanted to ask her questions about her life while she was working on me, she gently redirected me, encouraging me to quiet my mind and take in all of the benefits of the massage experience (I needed her to say that!).I give my massage the highest rating there is to give, as Erin, as a person and as a therapist, is worthy of this.Go and experience Erin's work!Blessings,Jennifer

I was looking for a local aerial yoga class after trying it overseas and discovered Body Flow Yoga in Windsor. Their broad offer of yoga styles has motivated me to try a mix of classes. The elevated studio is clean and bright and removed from the noise of the city. All the instructors have been really competent, caring and knowledgeable. Their monthly membership price is very reasonable and as a result I have rediscovered my yoga 'practice' that I have missed for about 15 years.

Amazing teachers, great studio with natural light and clean facilities. Aerial yoga is so much fun, you feel like a kid again flying upside down. Every class is different and interesting. The silks act as a really good support for making challenging yoga poses a little easier and deeper. Definitely coming back to do more!
